Have had way less time than usual to work on the project the last few months, but a short update is in order. The upcoming version will focus on various kinds of networking support, ranging from remote control to streaming and netplay.
This prompted some quite extensive re-factoring of the default themes and support scripts that dragged things out a bit, but with the end being pretty much in sight. Aside from mixing multiple audio sources in streaming output, what remains is mostly testing and tuning the (streamer, gridle, gridle_remote) scripts — along with the usual headache of packaging and testing on windows.
For those not monitoring the youtube channel, the following (~2 months old) video shows off the remote control part of the networking support. The layout editor has since then improved, and is used for both setting up layouts for streaming through twitch and friends, for remote controls and for gridle/customview.
